« Navette » explores the meeting of reality and the virtual, by merging a process of digital generation and a loom. Made in collaboration with Neolice, in the Creuse region in France, this collection offers a journey to the confines of two worlds, thanks to a shuttle that weaves them together.
By using a combination of digital techniques adapted for the physical world, « Navette » plays with the notions of series and unique pieces, but also with the randomness belonging to the digital world, without forgetting the famous “glitch”. Generative art thus becomes a means of taking a shuttle into a new universe…
